Hand-held digital recorders are now available that eliminate the hassle of using analog tapes. With digital technology, instead of recording on a tape, your dictation is recorded in a digital voice file that can be sent via Internet technology to a transcriptionist anywhere in the country. The file is transcribed and the completed dictation can be returned to you via Internet, for your office staff to print. Secure and encrypted file transfers guarantee that protected health information is secure, as per HIPPA requirements

Digital service offers a number of advantages. The voice quality of digital recordings is much clearer, resulting in a more accurate medical record. In addition, turn around time is faster, there are no tapes to break, be accidentally erased or lost, and you can send dictation any time of the day or night, without being dependent upon a pick-up/delivery schedule. Since you receive files of transcribed documents, you can make changes if desired, and print the documents in your office, at your convenience.

By far, the most convenient method of dictation is using your telephone instead of a recorder. Simply dial a 1-800 number (it's a free call!), sign in using your personal ID and passcode and begin dictating. The service is available 24/7 from any pushbutton phone (except cell phones).

The dictation is stored in a secure location and sent to our transcriptionists. Once the transcription is complete, we can either return it to you via Internet for printing in your office, or we can print the dictation to your specifications and return it to you via Priority Mail, or depending on your location, we can print and deliver it to your office.

Turn-around time for phone-in dictation is 24 hours or less for dictation we return to you via the Internet.

Phone-in dictation is also available for those STAT dictations you need back immediately. Simply dictate as usual and call our office to inform us of a STAT dictation. We will transcribe your dictation and return it to your office for printing in short order.

If you use tapes, we pick up the tape(s), transcribe the dictation and return printed notes and/or letters to your office. We visit your office every day to drop off finished work and pick up any new work you may have.

You will find our turn-around is the best in the area. If you have dictation each day, we will have it back for you the next day. If you dictate once or twice a week, we will have it back to you in 24-48 hours. That's turn-around you can count on!

Depending on your preference, we will print on labels, plain paper, your special papers, letterhead and envelopes, or return work to you on a computer diskette.
