Warning Description: Winter Storm Watch
Warning Date: 4:15 PM EST on February 8, 2010
WarningSum:...Winter Storm Watch Now In Effect From Tuesday Afternoon
Through Wednesday Morning...
Warning Message:The Winter Storm Watch is now in effect from Tuesday afternoon
through Wednesday morning.
* Snow will spread northeast across the Saginaw Valley around
midday Tuesday and become the most intense Tuesday night. Snow
showers will taper off and become scattered Wednesday morning.
* Total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches can be expected by
Wednesday morning.
* Winds will increase from Tuesday night into Wednesday with
sustained winds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts to 30 mph contributing
to blowing and drifting snow.
* Accumulating snowfall may lead to poor Road conditions during the
evening commute on Tuesday with travel becoming dangerous
Tuesday night and Wednesday.
